Medicare For All
Policy #10 from Bernie's Plan:
10. Bringing Health Care to All The United States must join the rest of the industrialized world and recognize that health care is a right of all, and not a privilege. Despite the fact that more than 40 million Americans have no health insurance, we spend almost twice as much per capita on health care as any other nation. We need to establish a Medicare-for-all, single-payer system.
Given the lack of popularity of Obamacare (& "the affordable care act"?) and the high popularity of Medicare... why not have Medicare for all? Imagine how much more our citizens could accomplish if health was taken care of? You would still be able to sue for mistreatment by doctors and in addition to this you could live your life with your family without fear of the costs of a accident or health problem, big or small.
People will be more productive and we won't have to worry about robots taking our jobs cause our citizens will be able to grow with the times... because they will have enough money to adapt and even innovate with thier own products and businesses.
